Growing up in the North woods of Minnesota with Lake Superior as a backdrop, Jenny has always had the beauty and inspiration of nature in her very being. She knew from an early age that it would lead her
towards a career that would allow her to provide beauty to others.
When it came time for Jenny to choose an area of study going into
college, in her mind there were only 2 choices: horticulture, with the intent of owning a retail flower shop, or interior design. Going with her first love of plants and nature, Jenny chose horticulture. Two years after graduation, she opened Sweet PeaÕs Floral Designs in Woodbury, MN. The experience gave Jenny the wonderful opportunity of being in the beautiful homes of the area creating custom floral designs and accessorizing spaces for her clients. Her work was featured in a variety of magazines and referred by many
popular businesses. During this time, Jenny also had the opportunity to develop her eye for the
architecture and detail of well designed homes. It proved to be the perfect hand-on education
for her love of interior design.
Ten years and three children later, Jenny knew it was time to leave the world of retail behind. Before long, the chance came to pursue her passion for interior design, and she joined the team at L.I.D. The transition from one career to the other has happened seamlessly.
Jenny now enjoys being a part of the full spectrum of design, providing beautiful results
for her clients.
